Opening Ceremony of English Language Unit of Damana Maha Vidyalaya - Ampara

On June 14, 2024, Damana School celebrated an unforgettable day as the Think Tank Group, made up of past pupils, officially opened a newly rebuilt English language unit for current students. 

The day began with a warm welcome for the former students, who were excited to return to their school. The opening ceremony featured speeches from both the Think Tank Group and the school, highlighting the importance of education and the impact the school has had on their lives. 

Attendees had the opportunity to explore the new English language unit, which was designed to be a modern and engaging learning environment. Current students interacted with new resources, participated in language games, and joined in mini-lessons.

As the day concluded, everyone gathered in the school courtyard to share favorite memories of their time at Damana School. The sense of community and connection was strong, as participants reflected on the importance of their shared experiences.
